Launch Date: 1949

Playtime Designed by Stanley McDonald a sister ship to Pastime II

She was built by Shipwright, Norman Norblum, for Melbourne yachtsman, Jim Lane.

Her construction of her hull was built with quarter cut Oregon Fir and New Zealand beech was used fr her deck.

Playtime was launched in 1949 and was sold to South Australia before Pastime II was launched. The pictures show Playtime entering the yard at Hobson’s Bay Yacht Club Williamstown.

We are currently looking for Playtime and we would appreciate any information especially of yachts that resemble Playtime in the Adelaide area.
