The 16ᵗʰ Year Anniversary!

The Legend is alive and continues.

After a website hiatus of 12 years, we are thrilled to share the latest breath-taking activities happenings around the Australian Squares. ~

Amazing reunions made, old friendships re-established, 30 SQM Yachts found, restored and returning to the waters renewed, varnish and paints sparkling, fittings sparkling, stories aplenty and as eye-catching as ever.

It has been an amazing one and a half decades for myself and the proud, passionate and dedicated owners (trustees) of the Australian Square Metre Yachts since this website was born in July 2009….

Pinchgut

Launch Date: 1993

The first Australian built fiberglass 30 square metre yacht was Pinchgut. Her name stands out almost as much as the her performance record, locally in Sydney and overseas in Europe. Her lines where from a Harry Becker hull which was used to make the Pinchgut mould.
